Cerebral Constipation

by on February 27, 2013

I am suffering a wicked case of writers block on the subject of negotiation and how we got it to work for us.

I asked my husband to chime in and help…and that lead to a heated but good-natured debate about how and when it came about.

I start typing and it still more back story because I can’t explain HOW we do what we do without telling about HOW we got where we are.

We didn’t get here easy because we are so lop-sided when it comes to our kinky natures.

We had to find some common ground and understand what the other wanted and needed…getting to that common ground point was a struggle.

You can’t negotiate anything if you don’t comprehend what it is you are going into negotiations over and negotiation isn’t going to work unless both parties are willing to see the other person’s side.

Seeing the other person’s side “their logic” ………doesn’t mean agreeing with the other side…it only means you are willing to listen with an open mind and not take the other person’s perceptions as a slight or a dig at your own perceptions….and it means not slighting or taking digs the others needs and wants.

We had to get THERE before we could get HERE…where we are today.

And that’s all I got for right now.

I’m not sure what kind of laxative one uses for cerebral constipation…I hope I can figure it out soon.
